Job Title: Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to join our team at Sanderson Recruitment Plc. As an Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal end-users for critical software applications across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and manage support ticket queues to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues with software applications, utilizing your knowledge of ITIL and service management methodologies
  • Liaise with the wider team and 3rd parties/suppliers for incident management, ensuring effective communication and escalation of tickets as necessary
  • Contribute to the creation, review, and update of support documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Effectively manage vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless support and maintenance of applications
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience providing technical support on business-critical applications in a demanding environment
  • Ability to select the appropriate communication method for the task, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management methodologies, particularly Incident Management & Problem Management
  • Experience of Remote Assistance/Support, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear, concise, and logical manner
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
