About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As an Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on application-related issues.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify, track, and resolve application problems on a day-to-day basis, including evening and weekend support as required.
  • Application Environment Management: Responsible for managing application environments to support unit, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with IT teams, vendors, and departments to champion data integrity and reliability through education and monitoring.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create or update standardized application support documentation and develop reports and dashboards to assist in identifying KPIs and data trends.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience of working with process owners and providing second-level operational support for large business applications.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of continuous quality improvement, management information systems techniques, and change control procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Results-driven with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner, with minimum guidance or prompting.

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary.
