Safeguarding and Community Support Specialist

Sja's West seeks skilled professionals to fill the Safeguarding Team Member position in Warwickshire and Coventry. As a safeguarding specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of services to vulnerable children and adults. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining the high standards of safeguarding within our organization.
To excel in this role, you will need strong communication and problem-solving skills. Our volunteers receive comprehensive training to support them in their roles. The mandatory training for this position includes:
- Safeguarding in Practice Weekend: Every three years within 12 months of joining
- Annual CPD Event Weekend: Last weekend of September
- Regional Safeguarding Meeting: Held on a Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs
