Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Dreadnought Common Infrastructure team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maturing aspects of the Computerised Information System into the whole boat design, liaising between internal and external stakeholders, and owning system interfaces and functional diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maturing aspects of the Computerised Information System into the whole boat design
  • Liaising between internal and external stakeholders, including the MoD
  • Ownership of system interfaces and functional diagrams
  • Generation of system design documentation
  • Supporting the supplier integration strategy
Requirements:
  • Proficient in interface management
  • Experience working in a defence environment
  • Basic knowledge of network architecture
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with engineering lifecycle management
  • Proficient in using IBM DOORS
