Business Development and Sales Growth Manager

Genuine Parts Company, a leading distributor of light and commercial vehicle parts, is seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Growth Manager to join their team in the UK.
As a Business Development and Sales Growth Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sales and margin growth for your customer base. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships within a targeted territory. They will also possess the ability to analyse business intelligence software, effectively communicate with Branch, Regional, and Senior Management, and influence branch management and sales teams.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate:
- Excellent selling skills, combined with the ability to communicate to all customer groups and build strong relationships across the region.
- Dynamic and performance-oriented individual with strong negotiation and selling skills.
- Commercial awareness and good knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.
- Extensive experience with customer account management.
- Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth within a business-to-business environment.
- Experience at finding and developing new business.
