About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team, responsible for providing specialist clinical psychology services to older adults with severe and enduring mental health issues and/or Dementia.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties will include:
- Providing complex psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with Dementia and related mental health needs.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, social care services, and voluntary sector organizations to ensure seamless care pathways.
- Contributing to the development of innovative psychological interventions and strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Leading and coordinating patient care, including managing complex caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing expert psychological supervision and support to staff members, including recruitment and training.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Substantial post-qualification experience working with older adults, Dementia, and related mental health needs.
- Excellent assessment, formulation, and intervention skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, social care services, and voluntary sector organizations.
