About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary chronic pain team based in Lincoln. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations, and deliver individual and group interventions as part of our community-based chronic pain service.
You will work closely with nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic pain. Your excellent communication and relationship skills will enable you to develop and foster conducive relationships with local and national clinical stakeholders, including IAPT services, GPs, and secondary care.
As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will use your knowledge, experience, and skills to provide advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals. You will also contribute to advancing knowledge and practice of psychological theories and principles within our organization.
Requirements
- British Psychological Society Accredited post-graduate doctoral degree in an applied field of psychology (clinical, health, or counselling)
- Registration with The Health & Care Professions Council as a 'Practitioner Psychologist'
