Key Responsibilities:- HSQE Compliance & Monitoring: Lead all HSQE activities, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, including ISO standards and UK-specific safety laws.
- Safety Leadership & Incident Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Lead incident investigations and establish preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Manage the quality assurance process to ensure all operations meet established quality standards. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and safety performance.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, emissions control, and resource conservation. Monitor the company's environmental impact and implement strategies to reduce its carbon footprint.
- Training & Development: Develop and deliver HSQE training programs to ensure employees are well-versed in safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HSQE management, ideally within the construction, water, or utilities sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO and UK regulatory requirements).
- Expertise in auditing, compliance system management, and safety protocol implementation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to managing safety, quality, and environmental processes.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is highly desirable.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
