About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Manager to join our team at Early Connections. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Early Connections-Port Macquarie/Hastings service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of individual programs and services delivered to children and families.
  • Facilitate effective communication between staff, families, and the Management Committee.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts in stakeholder and community organisations.
  • Embed human rights and organisational values in quality systems.
  • Develop systems and reporting mechanisms to identify quality risks.
  • Ensure compliance with quality reporting systems.
  • Improve procedures and policies to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to budget allocation for quality and compliance systems.
  • Maintain appropriate records, including policies, procedures, and statistical data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field with extensive management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative procedures, program development, and community liaison.
  • Commercial expertise (desirable).
  • Enhanced time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience managing disability services.
  • Knowledge of NDIS and Disability Standards.
  • Project management experience.
  • High-quality oral and written communication skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check & Police Check required prior to commencement.
