About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children and Young People's Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neurodevelopmental pathway team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to inform treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individually tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and families on neurodevelopmental disorders and their management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service models and pathways for neurodevelopmental care.

Requirements
  • 12 years post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • High-level knowledge and experience of neurodevelopmental disorders and their management.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
