About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality services to children and their families in the local community.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Management of Early Connections-Port Macquarie/Hastings: Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Quality Program Delivery: Ensure that individual programs meet the highest standards, promoting the well-being and development of children.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Foster effective relationships with staff, families, and organisational stakeholders, facilitating open communication and collaboration.
  • Networking and Partnerships: Develop and maintain a network of contacts in relevant organisations, enhancing the service's reputation and opportunities.
  • Embedding Human Rights and Values: Ensure that organisational values and human rights principles are integrated into quality systems, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Quality Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop systems to mitigate them, ensuring the service's continued quality and compliance.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Service Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procedures and policies, enhancing the service's delivery and impact.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to budget allocation, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.
  • Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including policies, procedures, and statistical data.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field, combined with extensive management experience.
  • Skills and Experience: Demonstrated expertise in administrative procedures, program development, and community liaison, as well as commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Desirable Attributes: Enhanced time management, prioritisation, and leadership skills, as well as experience managing disability services and knowledge of NDIS and Disability Standards.
  • Working Requirements: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, and Police Check required prior to commencement.
