About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated clinical/counselling psychologist or psychotherapist to join our Older People's Psychology (OPP) service. As part of the Dorset Older People's Psychology Service, you will work with other friendly and dedicated psychologists/therapists to provide specialist psychological services for older people under the care of OP-CMHTs in Dorset.
Main Responsibilities
The role is diverse, allowing opportunities to develop your own individual therapy skills, work on service development, continue with your professional development, and work with a range of skilled professionals who are passionate about working with older adults. Clinical work covers a range of different problems with which patients may present, as well as skilled and often complex assessments. Consultation and supervision of other professionals from within the OPP team, as well as the wider MDT, is a regular part of our role.
