We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home and hold a Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the household and the delivery of high-quality care.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare.
  • A Full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values in line with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
