We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our young people to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Work closely with our therapeutic team to provide emotional support and guidance to our young people.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare.
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values aligned with Esland Care's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
