We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, helping them to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including emotional support, guidance, and encouragement.
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our young people.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure that our young people receive comprehensive support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare.
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values that align with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
