We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Home Support Worker to join our team at Esland Care. As a Senior Children's Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare.
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values aligned with Esland Care's, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
