Moving Well Team Member Role

We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our Moving Well team at Arvida's Living Well Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and programmes to improve the health and wellbeing of our members.
You will work closely with the Moving Well Manager to develop and deliver group fitness classes tailored to the needs of older adults. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with members will be essential in achieving our goals.
What We're Looking For:- Qualifications in exercise science or a related field (e.g. personal training, exercise physiology)
- Experience working with older adults and understanding of their physical and medical needs
- High level of resilience and willingness to learn
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Conduct comprehensive assessments with new members to determine their fitness goals and create personalised programmes
- Deliver group fitness classes designed to promote strength, mobility, and confidence among older adults
- Maintain pool facilities and equipment
- Work collaboratively with the events team to plan and deliver engaging activities for members
- Foster strong relationships with members and provide ongoing support and guidance
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
