We are seeking an experienced and skilled cook to join our team at Ashburton District Council. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
This is a full-time role requiring 40-45 hours per week, with a focus on evening and weekend shifts. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a cook in a busy kitchen environment, strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
