Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Educational Psychologist to join our newly established Psychology Service. As a key member of our team, you will work systemically in multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to trust-wide and externally commissioned initiatives, supporting the needs of individual pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw on your expertise in neurodiversity to work closely with settings that support learners with autism and social communication differences.
  • Support pupils with significant social and emotional needs using trauma-informed practice.
  • Work with learners with complex learning and developmental needs, and engage in externally commissioned projects across the region.
  • Provide training, problem-solving, and collaborative consultation to teachers, parents/carers, SENCOs, and the wider community.
  • Build relationships with those you support and take a reflective approach to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Use psychological assessment and produce reports to contribute to an understanding of a child's needs.
  • Collaborate with others to develop shared and person-centred plans of support.
