We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will work with young people with a variety of learning needs, providing flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide individualized support to help young people advance their educational and social-emotional journey
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
