We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will work with young people with a variety of learning needs, providing 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science in a creative, flexible, and holistic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide holistic and trauma-informed support to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of each young person
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
