About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to lead our Hosted Travel Portfolio team. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic sales plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage key accounts and develop strategies to increase revenue across the portfolio.
  • Achieve revenue targets for events and wider product offerings, with a focus on digital and sponsorship.
  • Set and manage delivery against targets for the sales teams.
  • Create and implement sales plans for the portfolio, identifying development areas and new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support and promote sales performance excellence through coaching, training, and sales system usage.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reports for the portfolio.
Requirements
  • Proven sales leadership experience with a track record of success in the luxury and/or travel industry.
  • Ability to understand wider strategic business objectives and work with major global accounts and strategic account management.
  • Deep understanding and proficiency in value-based selling techniques and sales systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to a wide audience.
  • Ability to use own judgment and initiative to exceed business objectives.
  • Empathy and understanding of other cultures within a commercial context.
  • Comfortable entertaining and networking with large groups of senior decision-makers.
  • Ability to travel as needed to attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
