Sales and Business Development Leader

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Leader to join our team as the Head of Sales for the Hosted Travel Portfolio (ILTM, IGTM & IBTM). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the sales teams and managing key accounts to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage key accounts and develop strategic sales plans to increase revenue across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of sales initiatives.
- Set and manage delivery against targets for the sales teams.
- Create and implement sales plans for the portfolio, identifying development areas and new business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of sales initiatives.
- Support and promote sales performance excellence across the portfolio through coaching, training, and sales system usage.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reports for the portfolio.
Requirements
- Be an enthusiastic and driven sales professional with extensive sales experience as an established sales leader.
- Have a deep understanding of the luxury and/or travel industry, with experience in value-based selling techniques and sales systems.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to a wide audience.
- Use your own judgment and initiative to successfully exceed business objectives.
- Be empathetic and understanding of other cultures within a commercial context.
- Be comfortable entertaining and networking with large groups of senior decision-makers.
- Be able to travel as needed to attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
