Job Role: Freelance Interpreter
We are seeking skilled translators and interpreters to join our team, providing high-quality language services to clients across various sectors, including healthcare, local authorities, police, and probation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Verify the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Liaise between service users and providers
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications, such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
