We are seeking a skilled freelance interpreter to join our team at Language Empire in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

As an experienced interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with various clients across different settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.

Language Empire has been providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration are advantageous.

You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, check the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, and liaise between the service user and provider.

With our dedicated in-house team providing ongoing help and support, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home and choose your own schedule. We offer competitive rates and continuous professional development opportunities.
