Job Title: Trauma & Orthopaedics Therapy Services Manager

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our T&O Team as the Therapy Lead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily clinical and managerial leadership of the T&O Therapy service which consists of a mixed team of 12 staff and includes OT, Physio, and Therapy assistants.

The service clinically covers 41 beds across 2 wards and has a twice weekly pre-op clinic as well as a newly formed Domiciliary service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and team leadership, focusing on delivering high-quality care across the clinical areas.
  • Oversee the successful delivery and expansion of the role of Therapy.

The successful candidate will be supported in post by the Inpatient Therapy services lead, as well as extensive CPD training opportunities and access to organisational development and leadership development opportunities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive postgraduate experience working within the relevant clinical field.
  • Excellent advanced knowledge of the management of the relevant patient group.
  • Experience of clinical education of less experienced staff.
  • Membership of an appropriate special interest group.
