About the Role

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Senior Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and support to managers on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to all cases.

You will be responsible for investigating complex employee relations cases, providing guidance on employment law and policy, and developing reports of findings. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively advise and coach managers, as well as provide support to employees.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of employment law and HR policies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support to managers on employee relations matters
  • Investigate complex employee relations cases and develop reports of findings
  • Provide guidance on employment law and policy
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure consistency and best practice

Requirements

  • Associate CIPD membership and CIPD level 5 Intermediate qualification, or CIPD level 3 Foundation qualification plus degree or equivalent level of experience and training
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Proven experience of Employee Relations covering a diverse range of ER casework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
