Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide specialist care to women suffering from acute mental illness during the perinatal stage.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead in the specialist care of women suffering acute mental illness during the perinatal stage.
  2. Support in leading service development and treatment for Mothers and their babies based on evidence-based practice.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Person Specification
  • Valid UK NMC registration.
  • Training in psychological therapy, parent/infant therapy.
  • Experience of working within an acute inpatient Mother and Baby unit.
  • Knowledge of The Children's Act.
