Community Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in line with the NMC professional code of conduct and Trust policies.
You will work closely with the Advanced Nurse Practitioner to develop and implement packages of care tailored to individual service user needs, adhering to NICE guidance. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising and managing lower-banded staff within your professional group and team locality.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee the management and care of service users.
- Produce accurate and timely documentation and records in line with professional code of conduct and Trust policy.
- Conduct risk assessments and physical health care checks, acting upon findings.
- Act as a care coordinator and key worker, responsible for administration of medications and education of service users.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
- Experience working in community mental health.
