Senior National Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior National Account Manager to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing long-term business plans for Tesco, driving distribution, availability, visibility, and promotion plans within the channel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a long-term growth business plan for Tesco, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Drive distribution, availability, visibility, and promotion plans within the channel, ensuring optimal product placement and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the existing sales team to achieve key business objectives, including sales growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct sales and financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results.
  • Be a brand advocate and positively promote the business at all opportunities, including buyer meetings, events, and roadshows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing to ensure relevant promotional initiatives are being communicated to clients.
  • Coach and mentor a National Account Executive to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Must have FMCG account experience, ideally with Tesco, with a strong understanding of the grocery market and customer needs.
  • Confident in representing a branded portfolio and articulating the unique selling proposition (USP) against competitors.
  • An engaging individual with strong relationship-building skills, able to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong influential and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented approach.
