We are looking for a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team at Academics. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a Graduate degree in a relevant field, have Level 3 qualifications+, and experience working with SEN children or adults. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and emotional mental health support to children aged 5-16
  • Work alongside therapists and psychologists based on-site at school
  • Support children with challenging behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, counselling)
  • Level 3 qualifications+
  • Experience working with SEN children or adults
  • Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour

Salary: £85-£95 per day (full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm)
