This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

As a Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting your manager in ensuring that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care. You will have clinical leadership opportunities to develop services across the patch and medical education/supervision.

Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant in the team, you will join a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to young people and families in the CAMHS Bath and North East Somerset in the Getting More Help service. You will also provide medical input to the Neurodevelopmental Clinic.

About Our Team

This is an exciting time to join Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and become part of the BSW service. We deliver the i-Thrive model across BSW, including Mental Health Support Teams in schools and In-Reach services to Social Care. Oxford Health hosts the Thames Valley Provider Collaborative and Forensic CAMHS. Our CAMHS Eating Disorders Service is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was the regional pilot site for the national ARFID project. We work closely with our BSW ICB, Local Authorities, NHS providers and Third Sector Partners to transform services for young people up to 25.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to join our team. You will need to have excellent knowledge in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, experience of effective multidisciplinary team working, and experience of effective multiagency partnership at work. You will also need to have the ability to undertake full range of Consultant responsibilities and share leadership responsibilities with senior colleagues of other professions.
