Purpose of the role:
The Bid & Best Practice Manager will enhance proposals and service delivery by supporting the Bid Team with insights and best practices. They will implement mobilisation strategies, coordinate resources and timelines, and ensure project success. This individual will lead tender solutions, develop mobilisation plans, and oversee the handover to the operational team, leveraging business insights to improve service delivery.
Responsibilities:
As Bid & Best Practice Manager, you will be working within the Bids Team, supporting them in leading tender solutions to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day activities will include:
• Effectively establishing, managing, and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including clients, throughout the bid process.
• Leveraging business development relationships to engage with potential clients, gathering insights on best practices and lessons learned to improve mobilisation processes and outcomes
• Lead tender blue review to determine internal competitive position, strategy, and proposed solution.
• Collaboration with internal SMEs to define delivery solutions, ensuring they are tailored to each client's requirements.
• Supporting tenders and tender interviews, prepare tender submissions, and professionally articulate the proposed solution.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong experience of industry-standard contracts across FM, be a Prince 2 Practitioner, have extensive experience in Client Relations and Project Management, and extensive experience in Facilities Management. Additionally, this individual should have experience in relationship management both internally and externally.
