Bloomberg, a global leader in business and financial information, seeks a seasoned professional to fill the role of Financial Markets Relationship Manager. In this position, you will work closely with key decision-makers and influencers across regional and global sell-side organizations to provide consultative, commercially focused index solutions. Your expertise in the index landscape, index solution design, and index data usage within sell-side firms will enable you to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across regional and global sell-side organizations
  • Conduct in-depth discussions regarding Bloomberg index methodology and new product requirements
  • Increase client awareness, usage, and adoption of our Bloomberg Indices
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in or selling index products to sell-side firms or alternative experience in structuring/designing quantitative index solutions (QIS) or structured retail products
  • High-level understanding of derivative usage and payouts within indices as well as their usage to gain exposure to indices
  • Astute commercial mind-set, working to exceed sales metrics
  • Demonstrable ability to identify new prospects and build/maintain meaningful client relationships
  • Excellent client communication skills in conversational speech, writing, and public speaking
