Job Description

As a Financial Services Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with independent financial advisers, providing them with market-leading service and support. Your primary objective will be to process client and adviser firm instructions efficiently, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and to the highest standard.

You will focus on personal development and initiatives that continually improve the service to advisers, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of your work. By adhering to our processes and meeting daily deadlines, you will ensure that our service is consistent and compliant with FCA regulations.

In addition to your relationship-building skills, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively manage and develop relationships with several key adviser firms. A solid understanding of financial services and products, including ISAs and Pensions, Unit Trusts, OEICs, ETFs, equities, Onshore and Offshore Bonds, structured products, fixed interest products, and Investment Trusts, is essential for success in this role.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a client-facing or customer service-based role, preferably with a minimum of 18 months' experience in the financial services industry. A Financial Services Qualification (IOC, CFP) would be desirable, but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent, with at least a 'C' in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A solid understanding of financial services and products
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or customer service-based role
