In this pivotal role as Learning Disability Assistant at BeBee Professionals in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will be instrumental in creating an inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

About the Position:
  • Closely collaborate with teaching staff to provide bespoke support to students requiring additional help.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and accommodations to ensure students with SEN achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), aligning with school objectives and student goals.
  • Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with students who have special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and building rapport with students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are highly desirable.
