Job Description

We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a Female Family Support Worker – AHSNCL. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a young girl with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient, reliable, and punctual. They will also have a positive attitude towards disability and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

The role involves supporting the child in their daily activities, including personal care, education, and leisure activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the child.

We offer a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour, paid weekly. The position is 5 hours per day, term time only, with additional hours during holidays. We require the successful candidate to commit to at least 12 months in the role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide one-to-one support to the child in their daily activities
  • To assist the child with personal care, including toileting and dressing
  • To engage the child in educational and leisure activities, including outdoor games and crafts
  • To maintain a safe and healthy environment for the child

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patience, reliability, and punctuality
  • Positive attitude towards disability
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Experience working with children with disabilities
