About the RoleIn this critical position, you will provide essential care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting. Your core responsibility will be to establish a secure and supportive environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Care Worker, your main duties will involve:
- Delivering tailored care and support to meet the individual needs of each resident.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain accurate records and enhance communication with stakeholders.
- Promoting a positive team culture through active participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other initiatives.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current with industry best practices and advancements in childcare and youth support.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A valid DBS certificate on the update service for children and adults.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a residential or respite care setting with children and young people.
- A valid UK driving license.
