Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of privately funded healthcare in the UK. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for providing holistic and evidence-based care to patients throughout the Orthopaedic pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing advice and emotional support to patients and their families
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of patients
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive service development and staff education to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
- 5 years post registration experience in Children's nursing
- First degree in nursing or health related subject
- Relevant qualification in specialist area with at least 12 months experience
- Mentorship qualification
- Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
- Experience of audit and research relevant to specialism
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up to date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
- Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk
