Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you will be responsible for providing holistic and evidence-based care throughout the Spinal Surgery pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing advice and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of patients
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies

Requirements:

  • Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration
  • 5 years post-registration experience in Children's nursing
  • First degree in nursing or health-related subject
  • Relevant qualification in specialist area with at least 12 months experience
  • Mentorship qualification
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support
  • Experience of audit and research relevant to specialism
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes, with up to date level 3 Safeguarding qualification
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and managing risk
