Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a PICU Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young patients.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our dynamic PICU team. You will be responsible for providing expert care to children and adolescents requiring intensive medical treatment, working closely with our Consultant Paediatric Intensivists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritising the needs of each child and family
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitoring patients' progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, contributing to the development of our team and hospital-wide initiatives
Requirements
- NMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK
- Post-graduate experience in PICU or Paediatric High Dependency Unit
- Demonstrated expertise in providing high-quality patient care, with a strong focus on empathy and compassion
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritising tasks and managing competing demands
Salary and Benefits
