Job Summary

The Cardiac Care Specialist assists in patient care throughout nursing areas, providing safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher. Functions as an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who requires constant observation to maximize their safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in patient care and transport
  • Provides observer services for patients requiring constant supervision

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent required
  • Fulfills the role's responsibilities with minimal supervision

Work Environment:

Working 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week (7am-7:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. Estimated salary $17.55/hour based on experience with applicable shift differentials.
