We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Radiographer to oversee our cutting-edge Paediatric Radiology Department, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and the innovative EOS Edge.

The Portland Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a leader in paediatric radiography, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising dedicated and knowledgeable radiographers.

This is an exciting time for our interventional services, which are set to grow and expand. You will have the opportunity to work on various procedures, from paediatric interventional cardiac catheters to uterine artery embolisations for fibroids.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing accurate diagnostic imaging services
  • Rotating through CT, Cath Lab, and IR and Plain Film Imaging
  • Working within radiation protection guidelines to ensure minimal radiation doses
  • Delivering high-level customer care
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Working as a team player to maximise clinical efficiency

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration
  • Prior experience in CT (Siemens preferable) and Interventional Radiology
  • The willingness to rotate through General scanning
  • Experience scanning Paediatric patients desirable but not essential
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS software systems
  • Familiarity with undertaking audits
