Lancaster, Lancashire, United Kingdom NHS Full time
About Us

We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as community healthcare premises. Our hospitals provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and Consultant-led services.

All three main hospitals provide planned care, including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. We also offer local outreach services and diagnostics from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.

We aim to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health and manage their conditions through high-quality care, advice, and support. Our community services for adults are provided in people's homes, community centers, clinics, GP practices, community hospitals, and our main hospitals.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to patients. Requirements for this role include:

  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative or with minimal supervision.
  • Awareness of the NHS structure and current issues.
  • ECDL or equivalent qualification.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata.
This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment while contributing to the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
