We are looking for an exceptional Senior Environmental Professional to join Clinical Professionals Limited in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental management, with expertise in maintaining and supporting key site hazard identification and risk management programs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a subject matter expert on allocated SHE programs, providing coaching to site personnel and supporting the site SHE management and organization. They will also be responsible for project managing site SHE projects and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support key site hazard identification and risk management programs, including risk assessment, manual handling, COSHH, Permit to Work, Loss prevention, HAZOP, and site registers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on allocated SHE programs, providing coaching to site personnel and supporting the site SHE management and organization.
  • Project manage site SHE projects and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance and surveillance to engineering or site capital projects regarding SHE compliance, standards, and management of change.
  • Deliver SHE training and coaching activities as required, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Analyze incident information, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the delivery of site SHE inspection, monitoring, and audit programs, ensuring compliance and excellence.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma – Occupational Health and Safety Management certification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary of around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
