Job Description: Construction Team Leader North

The Orion Group is looking for a skilled Construction Team Leader to oversee the delivery of various projects in the North of Scotland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a team of construction professionals, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of construction experts to achieve project goals and objectives
  2. Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules
  3. Maintain accurate records of project progress, including site diaries, reports, and documentation
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, quality control measures, and environmental procedures
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and contractors

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of successful project management experience in the construction industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or equivalent
  • Valid CSCS card, SMSTS 5-day certification, first aid training (desirable), and a valid driving license
