Job Title: Warehouse and Inventory Optimization Expert

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Inventory Optimization Expert to join our team at Cambridge Audio. This is a permanent position, based in London Bridge, with occasional travel within the UK and Europe.

Job Description:

The Warehouse and Inventory Optimization Expert will be responsible for optimizing our warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage capacity planning, and shipping/receiving processes. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough analyses of current warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing optimized warehouse layouts and processes
  • Managing inventory levels across all UK, EU, and US warehouses
  • Analyzing and improving storage capacity planning and utilization
  • Implementing streamlined shipping and receiving processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated at £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include annual life-enhancement training allowance, subsidized private healthcare (50:50 contribution), charity volunteer days (3 days/year), profit share, and colleague suggestion scheme.
