Warehouse Inventory Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Inventory Manager to join our team at the British Museum's café. As a key member of the back-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversight of operational practices, including receiving deliveries safely and efficiently.
  2. Optimizing storage through forward planning and control methods.
  3. Assisting with ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
  4. Verifying accuracy of orders received, inventory, and deliveries.
  5. Daily inspection of warehouse grounds.
  6. Leadership on health and safety, including food safety.
  7. Quality assurance and reporting of damaged products.
Requirements:
  • Experience in heavy lifting within a warehouse or stores environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety and manual handling procedures.
