Job Title: Inventory Optimization Specialist

Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking an experienced Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels to meet customer performance delivery targets.

The successful candidate will have 1 year experience in materials/supply chain planning roles and forecasting systems usage. They will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and find logical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess stock levels.
  • Select and recommend forecasting methods to achieve optimal inventory levels.
  • Issue, monitor, and report accuracy for vendor forecasts.
  • Identify and report risks associated with product portfolios.

Requirements:

  • A degree equivalent to GCSE level qualification.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and find logical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly service parts planning, supply chain optimization, repair operations, and reverse logistics.
  • High level of IT literacy, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our company offers a range of benefits, including continuous training tailored to your role and skill set, 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays per annum, and flexible working hours.
