Austin Fraser is committed to providing high-quality educational support to students with Special Educational Needs. We're seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wythenshawe. This role offers a chance to work closely with students who require additional support, including those with ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, or mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children who need extra help, a strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs. They will also be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages academic success and personal growth.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEN, has a proven track record of working with similar cases, and can demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEN in a one-on-one and small group setting
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Current Safeguarding training (we can help if you need this)
  • Enhanced DBS (registered with the online update service) or willingness to process a new application

Salary: £95+ per day

Location: Wythenshawe
